What’s in a Name?

April 29, 2009 at 11:29 am | Posted in General News | Leave a comment

At the NAHSL Business Meeting in Lowell last October, a motion to investigate changing NAHSL’s name was presented from the floor. This motion was accepted by the membership and the NAHSL Executive Board formed an ad hoc committee to look into the matter.

The Subcommittee is now asking for your input. If you have a suggestion for a new name for our organization, please email it to John Gallagher by Monday, May 11th. All suggestions received by this date will be put into a survey and sent to the membership. Members will be able to view all of the names and rank their top three choices. The survey will be open from May 12th through June 5th.

You can suggest more than one name, but please be specific in your suggestion. Remember to include the acronym as you would like it presented.

Thank you for your input and participation!

John Gallagher, Mark Goldstein, Shirley Gronholm and Marilyn Pitman (NAHSL Name Change Subcommittee)
