Health Reform Explained

There are many places to look for information on the new Health Reform law. Here are a couple of my favorites:

1. For a well organized, well written summary of the Health Reform law, the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) has prepared a wonderful Summary ( I love how this document is organized, with anyone’s particular interest easy to find in the section headings (e.g., employer requirements, individual mandate, health insurance exchanges, etc.). This is a great place to send our users as well. KFF also provides a timeline ( which tells what is happening when. These and more are available on the KFF Health Reform Gateway (

2. Another site specifically details what’s in it for the healthcare consumer. This is written by the folks at Consumers Union (the organization that publishes Consumer Reports) website:
