Do you have some unwanted books that you’re ready to toss? HOLD ON JUST A MOMENT!

NAHSL is sponsoring a book drive for Operation Medical Libraries at this year’s Annual Meeting. Bring your current (2005-), gently used textbooks to NAHSL 2010 for a great cause!

OML has been featured in the New York Times ( ) and more information can be found on their website or their Facebook page.

From the site:

“Current textbooks in the health sciences fields of dentistry, medicine, nursing, pharmacology, and physical therapy are needed, as well as anatomy and basic science books. Textbooks need to be new or gently used, contain current information, and published after 2005. Multiple copies are useful for medical schools.”

Donations not meeting these guidelines will be discarded. Bring your book donations to NAHSL 2010 in Newport (Oct 24-26), and NAHSL will arrange for shipment to OML.

Please be aware that OML is not a 501 (c) 3. Donations are not tax deductible.

Any questions? Just ask!
