Professional Development Funds Available for NAHSL Annual Meeting Registration

The NAHSL Professional Development Fund Committee is pleased to announce that we are once again offering awards to help with the REGISTRATION/CE cost for NAHSL members attending the NAHSL 2011 conference in Uncasville, Connecticut, October 30 – November 1, 2011.

Each award will cover the cost of the early-bird, member registration fee of $215 as well as the CE cost, with a maximum amount of no more than $485 for the whole year (some members have already received grants for MLA and/or other CE classes for this year).

To qualify, you must be a current member of NAHSL, with your 2011 dues paid no later than March 15, 2011. The application deadline for this award is September 2 Friday, 2011. Application forms and other information about qualifications can be found under the Professional Development tab of the NAHSL website.

Award recipients will be notified on or before Sept. 16, 2011.  The early bird registration deadline for NAHSL conference is October 1, but please register as early as you can and you’ll get reimbursement after the event.

Apply now and attend the exciting conference in CT.  We particularly encourage applications from new NAHSL members, those who have never received a NAHSL profession Development Award, or anyone who has never attended such a conference.
