Early this week, MLA and AAHSL sent a joint letter to Darrell Issa (CA), the Chair and Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform opposing “The Research Works Act”, HR 3699. The Act would overturn NIH public access policy and prohibit other federal agencies from establishing similar policies.

You can find text of this letter, along with others submitted during the public comment period, at the White House’s Office of Science and Technology website.
